Our Boston Red Sox fund raiser was a great success. We would like to
thank Pet Supplies "Plus" in Groton, along with various other
businesses that sold tickets for the raffle. One hundred percent of the
proceeds will benefit Forgotten Angels. The lucky winner for first prize,
a pair of Boston Red Sox vs NY Yankees tickets, was John Guetens of
Uncasville. The second prize, a solid pine handcrafted work bench, went
to Greg Mackin of Griswold. Third prize, a beautiful sterling silver
bracelet from Majestic Jewelers, was won by Carolyn Ring of Groton.
The drawing was held on August 9th, 2008. Thanks again for your
support!
